A 1979 All-American lacrosse player, John Meister comes from a family with a deep tradition in Brown lacrosse. He is one of four Meister brothers to captain a Brown lacrosse team and to make his mark in the Brown records books. Meister ranks among the top 10 all-time leading scorers for Brown with 67 goals and 71 assists for 138 points in three seasons. “John was an intelligent, intense and unselfish lacrosse player,” said coach Dom Starsia. “He was always anxious to make his teammates better players and he passed the ball whenever he could. He was a great all-around lacrosse player.” Meister is currently a general manager for Integrated Ceilings, a Division of USG Interiors. He and his wife Jean live in Anaheim Hills, California.
