Sport: Ice Hockey
Year Inducted: 1986

Defenseman Michael Mastrullo was a quiet mainstay on the 1976 Bruin hockey team that won the Ivy championship and finished in third place in the NCAA's. That was a year when everyone's eyes were on the offense, with speedy forwards Bill Gilligan and Bob McIntosh breaking scoring records. But Mastrullo played well enough to make honorable mention All-Ivy that year, and went on to make second team All-Ivy in 1977 and 1978, and first team All-Ivy, All-East, and second team All-American in his senior year. He scored fourteen goals and seventy-six assists (90 points) over his four year career at Brown. After graduating, Mastrullo signed a contract with the Atlanta Flames of the NHL and played for a year in that team's farm system. He played one season in Holland (1980-81), and is currently playing hockey in Italy. He was a member of the Italian team that participated in the 1984 Olympics.
