When Bob Hill came to Brown in 1984, Coach Dave D’Amato recognized that he had an outstanding wrestler who was willing to work hard and reach heights that no other wrestler had achieved.

Bob rewrote the record book!

He accomplished the following:

  •             Career record 115 wins
  •             2-year captain
  •             Most dual points in one season (89)
  •             Most wins in one season (32)
  •             All-Ivy as a sophomore, junior and senior*
  •             Ivy League wrestler-of-the-year as a junior and senior
  •             All-East Champion (Brown’s first) as a junior and senior

The Brown wrestling program also recognized Bob. He was chosen most valuable wrestler and most outstanding wrestler three times each. Also chosen Brown male athlete-of-the-year in 1987. After graduation Bob returned to Brown as assistant wrestling coach for the 1991-92 season. Returning to school, Bob attended Temple where he achieved his MBA/MS degree. Currently, he is working as a strategic planning consultant for Chi Systems in Philadelphia. Bob is engaged to Maureen Begley and they’re planning a wedding in March 1995.
