Four-time All-Ivy selection Christy Trexler holds three single-season records and four career pitching marks in Brown softball history. Trexler is Brown’s all-time leader in wins with 72, shattering the previous record of 50. With a 72-26 career record, she holds the Brown record for best winning percentage (.735). The 1993 graduate is also the career leader in ERA with a 1.34 average. In addition to four career records, Trexler holds second place in two other pitching categories, most games with 107, and innings pitched with 631.0.

Trexler holds the Brown record for wins in a season with 24 as a freshman in 1990. She also holds the second and third spots as well with 19 wins in both her sophomore and junior years. In 1991, she recorded a .792 winning percentage with a 19-5 record, setting the Brown record, which still stands today. In 1992, Trexler pitcher her way to a 19-6 record for .760 percent, good for second place in Brown history. Trexler broke her own record in strikeouts in a season (97) her freshman year, with 127 her junior year.

As only a freshman and junior, Trexler earned First Team All-Ivy honors. She was named Second Team All-Ivy her sophomore and senior years. The Center Valley, PA native was named Team MVP in 1992, the Ivy League Softball Rookie of the Year and received the Brown Outstanding Freshman Woman Athlete Award. Brown compiled a record of 117-50-1 while Trexler was on the pitching staff, capturing the Ivy League title in 1990.

Upon getting her degree from Brown in 1993, Trexler began a career in marketing research as a consultant for Pepsi-Cola Company. In 1997, she moved to brand marketing, working as a product manager for Durcell in Bethel, CT. While working in Connecticut. Trexler volunteered as a mentor for at-risk youth.

After four years of training, she achieved a Tae Kwon Do Black Belt in 1997. She was the Connecticut State Champion in Tae Kwon Do Sparring in 1998 and competed at the National Tae Kwon Do Championship in 1999.

Currently, Trexler is a Senior Product Manager for Kraft Canada. She and her husband, Scott, live in Toronto with their seven-month old twin sons, Tyler and Justin.
