Mark played on three of Brown’s most outstanding soccer teams. In 1974 the team was Ivy Champion and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, losing to UConn, 4-3 (3 OT’s). In 1975, Brown was the co-champion in the Ivy League and advanced to the semi-finals, losing to the eventual champion, San Francisco, 2-1 in three overtimes. In 1975, Mark was chosen first team All-Ivy. In 1976 the team won the Ivy League again and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament before losing to UConn, 1-0. Mark again was first team All-Ivy.
During Mark’s three varsity years, the Brown team was 14-2-0 in 1974, 12-3-2 in 1975, and 11-3-1 in 1976. In 1976, Mark was awarded the Class of 1937 Trophy, given to the player who contributes most to the team. He also played in the East-West Game.
After Brown, Mark played for the KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Team, touring Europe and America.
Mark and his wife, Patricia, now live in Huntington, Long Island, with their two wonderful children, Gabriella and Bryan. Currently, Mark is the owner of his own food processing business in New York.
