Walt Cataldo came to Brown from Billerica High School, where he captained the football, basketball, and lacrosse teams and he was an All-Conference choice in all three sports. In addition to those honors, he was selected by the Boston Globe to the All-Scholastic Teams in football and lacrosse, and he was also named an All-American in high-school lacrosse. When the Shriners held their annual North-South Massachusetts All-Star football game, Walk was named captain of his team. While at Brown Walt was captain of football and lacrosse. In football he was selected twice to the first team All-Ivy, All-ECAC, and All-New England. He was also selected ECAC Player-of-the-Week on two occasions. Walter received the Tuss McLaughry Award in 1987 (awarded annually to "that member of the varsity football squad who through sportsmanship, performance, and influence contributed most to the sport at Brown." How appropriate! Currently, Walt is an account manager with Marshall Industries in Wilmington, Massachusetts, and resides in Lexington.
