Swimming is where Jennifer achieved the most recognition. She was a U.S. National Swimming Team member – 1983, 1984, 1985, 1990 and 1991. As a competitor in these various events, Jennifer was a ten-time All-Ivy, as well as a ten-time All-East in swimming. In 1990 she was also selected the Eastern Women’s Swimming League swimmer-of-the-year, and the Sports Scribes chose her Rhode Island female athlete-of-the-year.
Closer to home, Jennifer received the Marjorie Brown Smith Award for outstanding female athlete at Brown University in 1990. Jennifer also received a Brown University Special Achievement Award for Excellence in Athletics and Academics in 1990.
In 1994 Jennifer graduated from the Massage Institute of New England and is a nationally certified massage therapist. She is the office manager/account supervisor at Performance Courier. A resident of Providence, Jennifer is also serving as an assistant swim coach at Brown, and when at home she is joined by her cat, Sweden (a stray kitten she recently adopted).
