Alumni, parents and friends of Brown University are justifiably proud of Brown's rich tradition of both academic accomplishments and athletic achievements. Your support of Brown Athletics is vital and always appreciated, as friends and alumni are one of the cornerstones of the Bears athletics program. But this rich tradition is built on integrity and we must be cautious not to let enthusiasm for athletics lead us into conflict with the rules and regulations of the NCAA and Ivy League. Winning is important, but winning the right way is crucial.
