Position: Athletic Communications Assistant (Field Hockey, W. Basketball, W. Lacrosse, W. Rugby, W. Soccer, M/W Swimming, Skiing, M/W Tennis)

Mike Billings joined the Brown Athletic Communications staff in October of 2013.  Billings serves as the primary contact for field hockey, women's soccer, women's basketball, women's lacrosse, women's rugby, M/W swimming and diving, M/W tennis, and skiing.

Before coming to Brown, Billings spent one year as a Media Relations Assistant at Boston College, serving as the primary contact for the Frozen Four finalist women's hockey team, as well as M/W cross country/track, M/W golf, and softball teams. He also assisted in media relations at all home football games as well as the famed Beanpot tournament in February of 2013.

Prior to Boston College, Billings joined the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League in January of 2012 as a Public Relations Intern.  At the Sharks, he assisted with game notes, feature stories, hockey operations, stat distribution and player time-on-ice tracking during every home game.

A native of North Grafton, Mass., Billings earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Framingham State in 2006 and a Master's degree in Sports Leadership from Northeastern University in 2012.
