Lauren Hylton joined the Sports Foundation staff in September, 2008 as the Athletic Development Assistant. In July 2012, she was promoted to Friends Association Manager.

Prior to coming to Brown, Hylton was an intern at the Institute for International Sport where she served as the Media Relations and Enrollment Coordinator for the 2008 US Scholar Athlete Games held in Kingston, R.I. Lauren earned an undergraduate degree in Organizational Communication and Public Relations at Western Michigan. She has great sports-related experience, completing professional internships with the WNBA's Detroit Shock and St. Patrick's Athletic FC in Dublin, Ireland. During college, Lauren worked the phones as a student-caller for the WMU Annual Fund and also played on the lacrosse team.

In her role with the Sports Foundation, Lauren manages the BUSF budget, accounts payable, and provides office administration and customer service.

Lauren, a native of Rochester Hills, Mich., currently resides on the East Side with her pug, Sugarbear and is currently pursuing her MBA at Bryant University.
