Kelly joined the Sports Foundation staff in March 2003 where she began her career as the Executive Assistant for then Executive Director Ron Dalgliesh '91. Kelly has had a number of titles while with the BUSF but was most recently promoted to her current position as an Associate Director in September, 2010.

Kelly's role as Associate Director has her working closely with the Executive Director on overall strategy and goal setting for the Sports Foundation as well as representing and promoting the athletic goals within the University. Her major responsibilities include working on principal and major gift fundraising as well as managing the annual leadership giving program to Brown Athletics. This group represents more than 95% of money raised for Brown Athletics each fiscal year. Kelly is also responsible for the extensive stewardship and mail solicitation programs for the Sports Foundation.

A native Rhode Islander, Kelly is a 1999 graduate of the University of Connecticut, where she received degrees in English and Journalism. She went on to get her Master of Arts in Sports Management/Kinesiology at UConn in 2001. While in graduate school, Kelly served as a Graduate Assistant for Head Coach Randy Edsall in the University of Connecticut Football office, where part of her duties included support of the "Huddle Club" (the UConn Football boosters group). After finishing her course work for her Master's degree, Kelly interned in the Development office at the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Kelly lives with her husband John and three daughters, Marybeth, Grace and Addison in Rhode Island.
