Position: Assistant Sports Information Director (W. Soccer, Field Hockey, Skiing, M. Hockey, M/W Tennis, W. Lacrosse)

Jeanne Carhart came to Brown in July of 2000 as an Assistant Sports Information Director. In this capacity, she handles all media demands and publicity for several of Brown's 37 squads throughout the year, including women's soccer, field hockey, men's ice hockey, skiing, women's lacrosse, and men's and women's tennis.

In March of 2005, she was the official statistician for the ECAC Hockey League Championships, serving the the same capacity for TV at the 2004 Championships. In 2003, she volunteered at the NCAA East Regional at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, RI, while also helping with the ECAC Women's Championships, held at Brown's Meehan Auditorium. In 2001, Carhart volunteered at the NCAA Men's Basketball East Regional First and Second Round games at Nassau Coliseum, in Uniondale, NY. While helping at the Tournament, she assisted with several areas, including serving as a member of the official stat-crew.

Carhart came to Brown from Towson University where she was a Sports Information Intern for the 1999-2000 school year. While at Towson, she served as the primary media contact for volleyball, women's basketball and women's lacrosse in addition to assisting with several other sports. Prior to her stint at Towson, she was an undergraduate assistant to the Sports Information Director at Drew University for two years. A four-year member of the women's lacrosse team at Drew, she assisted with the 2000 STX Lacrosse Festival and women's lacrosse North/South All-Star Games, held at Towson.

Carhart continues to remain involved in high school and youth lacrosse circles, serving as the head girls lacrosse coach at Moses Brown School since the spring of 2008. She is also a board member of both Metacomet Select Lacrosse and RILAX.

A native of Manasquan, New Jersey she is a 1999 graduate of Drew University where she earned a B.A. in Psychobiology. She is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America, ECAC-SIDA, and Words Unlimited.

She resides in Rumford with her husband, Christopher Keith, the Director of Information Technology for the Office of the Dean of the College at Brown.
