The Brown University Sports Medicine Department is dedicated to protecting, reducing the risk of injury and enhancing the health, safety, and wellbeing of the student-athletes of Brown University.  This will be achieved by providing a safe environment and the most optimal and expedient healthcare.  This will be accomplished through prevention of athletic injuries, clinical evaluation and diagnosis, immediate care, treatment, rehabilitation, organization and administration and professional responsibility.
